Kaytracy,
My handwriting is no exception to that. I picked up a calligraphy pen and started filling out a blank book. It could have passed for just about any European language and was hard to ME to decipher! And since I wasn't attempting to reproduce an ancient form of Sumerian scribble, it kinda took the wind out of my sails. Which brings me to the original request - I am familiar with handwritten fonts, and have several of them. However, none of them have the right feel for me because in each case, however stylized the letter "A" looks, however much an individual letter appears to be handwritten - EVERY SINGLE "A" LOOKS THE SAME. I've written a macro to toggle between various handwritten fonts, and the results appeared suitable psychotic since the handwritten fonts varied as much as you would typically expect fonts to vary. Which brings me back to the original request - Has anyone seen a set of ten handwritten fonts which are ALMOST alike? Alike so that looking at the letter "B" in HandWrittenFont#2 it appears very similar to the letter "B" in HandWrittenFont#3 Am I being clear this time? Rob |

Ahhh I see!
I did find the following site, mostly for mac http://pro.wanadoo.fr/dephitro/fonts.html he has a number of truetypes that look similar, I would imagine if mixed and matched they would have the evvect you seek. Also, with enough text, you might only have to worry about changing the capitals only. Jut a thought Kay

Also, you can just print a good font and go back with a pen and touch up some of the letters (and do some illuminations while you are at it!) and make them look more handmade. I would imagine it wouldn't take much to provide a convincing sense of irregularity.

It jsut occured to me also that one could simply leave a space where the similar caps would be and hand letter those into place after the printing!

This link is for a kit that teaches the art of creating illuminated letters. Cool! Make your prop smell like it came out of a funeral home... http://www.undergroundhumor.com/home/fun......pray.htm
