Vision IN Black was a Ted Karmilovich idea that was sold for awhile... I believe Hank Lee carried it for some time.
From what I've heard, Ted will put the idea and how to make it yourself in his book... that everyone is waiting for.

Vision in Back is out of sale, as far as I know.

I was happy to get it from Ebay some time ago.

The problem for real time drawing dupes is, IMO, not getting the impression but the peek.

My solution is using a cheap document wallet ( the card fold over flap ones ) to keep my paper in.

In action - I take a piece of paper out, offer it (along with the wallet to lean on) to the spectator.

While they're drawing something I do another effect that will eventually require me to write something down. When I do this I take ALL of the paper out of the wallet, write down my prediction and in showing the prediction I have a very clear view of the back of the stack of paper.

I hope this is cryptic enough to give nothing away but clear enough for those that should know..

Of course the card of the wallet is quite thick....so some modification may be required..nidge nudge

I still use my Clone Pad (Lee Earle) with success. I don't know if it is still on the market.

Fellow Café member Kennedy has a fantastic new book on mentalism which will be released soon. It is full of great ideas. There is a brilliant drawing duplication between 2 spectators with no pre-show. I use it myself. There is also another idea for a stage drawing dupe and a couple of close-up ones.

I highly recommend you check this book out, it is packed full of powerful, practical mental effects and essays. PM Kennedy for more information.

Hope this helps,
TM
