I was at a magic auction, and they were auctioning a tube and an empty coke bottle. You put a silk in the tube and you cover the coke with it, then you lift the tube, and the coke is stuck inside of the tube.

Does anyone know the trick or where I can find it?

I think it is called Vanishing Coke. I have an old one. It still works good. What I like about it is you can really put some Coke in it and see it is really liquid in the bottle before the vanish.

I'm sorry there's a typo. I hope you didn't think I was exposing the secret. Were it says "and the coke is stuck in the tube", I meant the silk you have just placed in the tube. So when you lift the tube, the silk appears stuck in the coke bottle.

I believe you are referring to a trick called Silkola. The following is a description:

"A capped soda bottle is shown empty. The bottle and cap can be handed out for examination. You now re-cap the bottle and cover it with a beautiful brushed Aluminum tube. A silk handkerchief is shown and vanished! The bottle is uncovered to reveal the vanished silk inside the capped bottle!"

Daytona Magic has it. Here's the link:

Enter silkola then click on "search be name". You will also see a chips version ---it uses a Pringle Potato Chips canister. It usually plays well with kids, especially the Chips version since it looks like an ordinary item.

I think that was called Coke's A Plenty and was sold by Abbott's in catalog 17 or 18. I vaguely remember seeing it.

First Day! and Wack-O-Magic sold over 40 units worldwide, already.

There are so many improvements to this version,
and it can be done with the spy vs spy secret soda recipe routine,
or any version that fits with your act. Can be done surrounded.

Great for adults, families, kids, parlor or stage.
