Does anyone know if Lee Earls's original Micro Thin clipgoards is available anywhere. In my opinion, its still the best clipboard ever made for pre show work.

To the best of my knowledge, Lee no longer makes them. I do agree however that they are the best!

They're actually not that hard to make. He describes them fully in his Trilogy eBook, although he's vague on one or two points. I made mine by experimenting with materials similar to what he described. Works fine.

Actually, if you already have his board, it is a simple matter to simply change the veneer when necessary. The clips, if lost, can be found at almost any office supply store.

Very easy to make and with a little hunting you'll have one made up. Go to your local DIY store and ask for laminating Veneer.
It is the best pre show clipboard.. D.T.13

I've always been surprised at how popular this clip board actually is, as it looks nothing like a real clipboard. The only advantage over other clipboards (such as the one marketed by John Riggs) is the price.
Peaple seem to be very suspicious of things like this these days (based upon my own observations) dur to the amount of exposure that's been on TV the last decade. Dave |
