Hello everyone, I am looking for a good jumbo coin clip or holdout for a production at the end of a coin flurry. I have always just tucked the jumbo into my waist but if you are surrounded it doesn't look so good to the audience behind you*lol*. Anyway, if you could give me some exact product names, prices, and where they can be purchased online I would be stoked! Opinions on the best/worst are also appreciated. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!

For years I have used the change purse with the collapsible opening... it has two metal bands that you have to squeeze to open as the purse always reamains shut. The tension on these bands of the clip will always hold a jumbo coin. fasten it upside down to a safety pin or better yet to a bulldog clip for easy attachement.. the local five and dime has them still at $1 each I think.. I made a 4 coin coin clip to add to it so it all attaches as a unit..
I believe this is a rather common holder many use now marty |

This Silva Jumbo Coin Dropper is supposed to be good. I don't have one personally though.

Dan beat me to it I was going to post about the Silva droppers. I don't have a jumbo dropper but I do have the half dollar size, which BTW with the half dollar size you can also hold Dollar size coins.
Best, Joe

I use a bankers clip (available at any office products store) ... I glued felt to the inside and it works like a charm ...

Mr Archer is correct, Magic w/HART, they are indeed called bankers clips and you can find them at Staples, Office Max and such. His tip about felt is great too. I first learned of the idea from John Bannon's Smoke and Mirrors book. Mr. Bannon referes to the "gimmick" as the Input/Output Holdout. Good luck!

I taped electrical tape to mine to make it black and to keep it quieter.
Don't be like me and forget you're wearing it when you get in your car. I scratched the **** of the seats in my car. Ooops.

If you can see Pat Page at one of his lectures, he sells a great Jumbo coin dropper that fits in the armpit of your sleeve. It is great for obtaining a Jumbo 3" coin. It is similar to the cloth billard ball droppers. The simple action of pulling up the sleeves releases the coin. Great Thinking from a real pro.
