Sounds similar to Lee Earle's "No Brainer Bags". Even the name is close.

Why don't you get five paper bags and mark them known only to you. How hard can that be? Murf

Fogel's 2nd Spot preceeded the No Brainer Bags by at least 20 years. Same method. I bought Fogel's version from Supreme Magic and still use it. The lunch bags are closer to Annemann's earlier envelope effect, and Murf's suggestion is good. Make your own.

Osterlind has this covered in ETMMM with envelopes which can with no effort be adapted to bags..

The main problem with this product is not the idea, which is fine and quite well thought-out. It's that you get one set of bags with no means to produce replacements. The one set will wear with one performance, maybe two. And then you have to spend about $15 to buy another set?? Uh-uh. As was pointed out above, you could make your own workable set very easily. Granted, Ken does show you one way to prepare bags but, still, the paper bags that come with it don't last long.

There was an idea in Syzygy some time back using bags that had someone's watch in one and lightbulbs in the others. I think it had something to do with how the bag was stapled. Could that application be altered to do this?

Guys, sorry I don't get on this board enough to chime in ( more on that later ), the No Think Bags come with sample pics in the instructions so new stamps could be made, my newest book has tons of other ideas using stamps that would only require one or two stamps, the one stamp system has you turning the stamps 90 degrees four times, the two stamp system has you turning the stamp 180 twice. these stamps only cost about $8.00 each to have made at Staples, while the four stamp system cost about $80.00 total, as for the replacement bags, I can make them for as little as $1.00 per performance $20.00 for 20 sets, plus shipping around $4.00. My newest book, comes in place of putting out three new effects, its called "Mark my Words" and covers a ton of codes to be used with effect like this one, Perplexing ESP Plaques, and many others, it also has an awesome Marked Deck System that is so easy to use, you'll have your first deck marked in about 10 to 15 minutes, after which you'll know the system well enough to put the deck to instant use. I also included my "Write-Write" routine, this has you writing called out letters on the top of a business card for close-up, or drawing pad for stage, in the end the letters called up to you form a word, the word that was called up matches the word you wrote earlier on the bottom of the card/board in a different colored ink... this is cool as it uses no pre-show work, no stooges, and while writing you only have one pen, a pen that only has one color ink in it – back to the no think bags for a second, we only put one set of each bag, actually two sets of bags total in with the no think bags in order to keep the price down - the bags were really more of a sample to show buyers how good a set of bags of this nature would look – I strongly recommend getting the stamps made, and until you can get that I’ll make bags for you at the aforementioned price, In fact mention this psot and I'll pay the postage in the US. Before getting stamps though you might want to check out my “Mark my Words” book – the marked deck is worth the price of the book, not to mention, “Write-Write” and another bonus effect we put in the book.
Hopefully I can be of some help in some way, if you have question don’t hesitate to email me kdriscoll28@juno.com or visit me on my board at http://magic-me.ipbhost.com I'll try to get to this board as often as possible now that I am allowed back on, I was ejected about a year ago and only recently found out I can get back on Thanks Ken Driscoll Magic-ME |

My thought is to simply run the bags thru your inkjet printer and put a different bar code on each bag with whatever memory key suits you. I like it simple.Bar code ends in R goes to redhead and B goes to black dress, Y goes to a blonde. You get the picture,
Always worked for me and I hope you'll like it too.
