I have recently bought an effect that requires you to do the pateo force. Although familiar with this I feel that using this force with 8 or 9 cards is or maybe slightly long winded.
Can ne1 send me in the best direction for material for this kind of thing or pm me. Regards Lee

Use an equivoque to eliminate half the cards first, (have the spectator mix the cards on the table and deal them into two piles...keep an eye out for your card) then carry on with the pateo. It looks even more fair...two methods! How innocent can you get?

"The Equivoque Choice" by Jack Dean is the best treatise on the subject and teaches you both technique as well as effects within. It gives a great handling of Vernon's 5 card mental force amongst others.
