Bloom's "Quarte" reminds me of two tricks that Peter Warlock brought out during the Harry Stanley years.

I think Quarte is much better than eith er of those....Quarte is possibly the best effect I've seen or done in the career. Pure brillance and simplicity! Sly |

From the description of Quarte in Hocus-Pocus I think this routine was performed and explained by Gaetan in one of his A1 Multimedia tapes set released some years ago. Check it out.

Yes, it is the same effect described in "Tales from the Planet Bloom". I would still purchase Quarte before trying to build this myself.
