'Just returned from my nearby Walgreen's with a couple of very nice small leather coin purses. They have at least 3 zippered styles--one of them is designed with a zipper in the same position on the front and the back so it's a ready made switching device (knives, billets, coins etc.)--dealers would easily charge $50 for this one alone
The super-duper Walgreen's price is just $1.00 to $1.99 each. Merry Christmas!!! |

Family Dollar stores in my area also carry these handy little coin purses. Some have a hidden zippered compartment at the bottom of the purse. Perfect for some "prediction" effects. They sell for $1.00 and are 100% leather.

You are so lucky to have this stores. We don´t have Walgreens in Germany - and when I spend some month in Key West, I enjoyed the benefits of Walgreens....

It's all relative, you know. We don't have Ka De We in the States.

We will really be onto something when Walgreen's starts selling Sherwood Cups for that price.

I got a good laugh out of that line. Believe it or not . . . many products at Family Dollar don't cost one dollar.

We have $2 stores here in Australia and everytime I visit one I have a vision of the checkout operator scanning an item and it doesn't scan. They pickup the microphone and say:
"Can I have a price check please" Hmmm, maybe it's just my warped sense of humour. |

Walgreens is a repugnant place. Their low prices come at the expense of their employees and the people around the world they exploit. Like the burial ground they desecrated to build a store there. Yes, they knew. They also knew it was just beneath a holy temple.
Do you really think their low prices come because they're just the good guys on the block? While you're saving $0.10 on a toothbrush try not to look at the underpaid cashier in the eye.
Merry Christmas

Actually we don't consider Walgreens to be a discount store on the east coast of Florida. I mean, they have loss leaders in their ads but they're almost always more than Wallymart. They're priced like the grocery stores here.

I just bought a couple of "extras" this morning. These items are located in the Christmas Promotional aisle along with the 2fer $10 men's wallets. When the cashier rings them up the register window says, "cosmetics". The best one for switching sells for $1.99.
