Recently,someone told me that Paul Harris has stopped performing and releasing effects to the public market. Is there any truth to this? Since I have started, a mere 2 years ago, paul has been one of my biggest influences. I would hate to think that there will be no more creations from Mr. Harrison that I can get my greedy hands on. I like the humor, the relaxed attitude, but most importantly the idea that magic is not a puzzle to be solve by the spectator, but a fine experience that should be taken in with a deep breath, a smile, and a general sence of wonderment. I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same way but to me paul Harrison's magic is almost psycodelic. Its can be visual, it can be mental, its all in the viewers eyes. Take it as you will....if you get my drift. Sorry, if I babbled but its probably better to make my feeling evident now, rather than explainig myself later,which I am more that happy to do.

The only experience I've had with Paul Harris is from his videos. I'll grant you that he is a genius when it comes to magic, however his performing style was like a visit from a lecherous old man. In the videos I have he makes double entendres that were embarrassing and not very unfunny. I sure wouldn't want him performing for my wife or daughter. JMO though.

I too would be sad if he ceased to release effects to the community. But after they RIPPED apart his "One And Only" like a bunch of sharks, on this forum, I can understand why. he probably just got p****d off and said ""F*** 'em all. Let 'em invent their own magic tricks from now on." I would not be one BIT surprised if this is what is behind all this, if indeed this is not just a rumor. He's most likely joining the likes of Steve Fearson.
