I mistakenly order a BUNCH of DVDs on amazon that came from the UK. These included the Derren Brown DVDs, as well as many others. I thought they would send me a regionless DVD, or at the very least, a DVD converted over to the correct region.
Now, after emailing them, they said I am basically screwed when it comes to returning them because "it was stated in the technical pages" when I ordered...grrr Well, anyways. Instead of selling them on eBay, or the like. Can I order a region two DVD player from the same site, or another? Thanks very much. Cheers, Rick. |

That posting on eBay looks like a scam to me, just listing hacks that you can find online for free with a little Google searching. Forget it.
It's easy to buy regionfree players in the US that also convert from PAL to NTSC. This place has them, for instance, for $79.95: http://store.fivestarlaser.com/ But just do a Google search for regionfree DVD player and you'll get lots of info. |

Cyberhome 300 is a the model that Radio Shack, Best Buy, and Walmart were selling for $30-50. It can be made region free by entering the appropriate numbers on the remote.
$38 with free shipping from Amazon. Or do a google search. I'll send you the codes if you need it. Best, James |

All DVD's have 5 region!
You must hack yours and setup to '0' region then your DVD will show you all region DVD's! |

I successfully hacked my cheaper DVD player (an Apex). However, it was said on numerous sites that a "full" hack wouldn't work on this particular model, and that it depended on the structure of the particular DVD region. They would all get to the menu, but wouldn't go further.
Now, it time to do more searches, and go for the gipper...the DVD/VCR Sony combo! LOL, seriously though, thanks for the help everybody. |

Well, after an hour and a half I couldn't find a hack for my sony.
Does anyone know one for Sony Model# SLV-D350P ? Thanks again for everyones help. (I wonder if all this thanking is getting gratuitous yet?) Rick. |

What is the problem? Almost all DVD players sold in the UK are multi-region; and will play DVDs from all around the world. Just buy one of those! Oh, but make sure it's American volatge and not PAL otehrwise you may find yourslef with another problem LOL!
