Given the fact that I do many mind-reading themed tricks, you may think it's odd that I'd like to learn Sybil cuts. However, I, as anyone else, endeavor to attract attention to non-mental-magic effects, plus, I think Sybil cuts look cool.
Anyone know a good source to learn them from? |

In addition to all those mentioned above, De'vo's Cradle to the Grave has an entire 25 second sybil-type routine that starts with the cards in the box, involves an opener, a sybil sequence, a closer to get the cards back in the box, and all entirely false, which is VERY cool.

For beginners I think learning from CTG may be a bit tough
I think its good to start off with cap cuts as it has an at the back view while learning the sybill.

CTG has 10 times better teaching than any of them though. But I agree, CTG routine is much different and deeper than any normal sybils. I'd go for Tudor for all sybils and some magic. Dan and Dave if you have a good foundation.

Sorry to ask caution, but I can see that you are a fan of superhandz much like me. Are you banned? or do you have a different name on the HL forums?
I like cards.

He is the last person to be banned over there.
Basically cant be banned at all. But yeah, CTG is good if you want to learn the CTG routine. Impossible stack isn't so useful if you only want to do a normal sybil, I usually don't include card cases in mine. But yeah, D&D, Tudor and Cap is to look at if you want sybils specificly.

Excuse my ignorance but, being a complete newbie to card flourishes (although I can do the Butterfly and Gianni Mattioli's Illogical cut), I have no idea what a 'sybil' cut is? Can someone please fill me in on what a 'sybil' is?
Thanks |

A sybil cut is kinda an extension to the Illogical cut, the original was made by Chris Kenner. (The 5 faces of sybil.)
Yeah.

Thanks Harwin. Does Jerrys encyclopedia have loads of these sybil-like cuts?

Nope, it has but one, called the "Tower Cut" in the two-handed cuts section. To be honest with you, it's more of a DISPLAY than a moving Sybil, but a very nice display nevertheless. Thanks Jerry!
If you want to learn stuff concerning sybils, check out Cap Casino's "C4: Capcuts". A lot of his work is based on this concept. And contrary to what most people say, The Dan and Dave System has only ONE sybil... but it's a phenomenal DVD nonetheless. Also, check out Tudor's work. Man, is this guy FAST :| -Kev |

MnemonicaRedux's site mredux.tk has 2 sybil variations on it that I like. He also has a link to the free sybil teaching video on caps site. Check out all kev's tutorials.
Stick to the classics,
