It really doesn't strike me as a table hopping effect; apart from the technical and angular aspects of it, is having a guy come over and make the top half of his body waggle around freakishly really the sort of entertainment you'd expect to enjoy over an expensive meal? Especially if he then expects you to tip him for the priveledge of being put off your dinner..
PSIH is more suited to street magic and walkabout gigs in more relaxed settings. |

Thanks for your advice etc, I was really looking to try something other than the usual close-up, with a view to a different selling point.

You could to the surroundable jacket version table hopping, but it probroly wouldn't be the best venue for it. In that environment, I would suggest using it to entertain the waiting line in the lobby.
Overall, it's a great effect and if you spend the time to make a good gimmick and practice it then it's a nice thing to have. It doesn't cost much, and it's a lot of fun to do. JoeJoe

Just got it today. I like the surroundable jacket one....if you really use some of those ideas you can alter some things to make them a tad better.....It is a good reference book....the stuff is really easy to put togeather and looks easy to do....practice to make it look great is what it will take for this...
