Question: What does a dog do that a man steps into?
Answer: Pants. Sign at a nudist camp: Sorry - Clothed for Winter. All this talk about clothing wears me out. Are you trying to collar someone just for their talk about costumes? Trying to sock it to them? Give them a belt? Lets just call it a tie. As the Beatles said: All you need is glove. Sorry about that. It was pun at work day today. Starrpower, Don't worry about it. Maybe they are just fashion conscious and don't want to show up wearing the same thing as you to the party. - Brian Nadworny

I always keep away from cartoon character prints because
a) it looks a little early 90s. What else would you wear? Hammer pants? b) Its a recognised trademark image. I know there is no legal problem in wearing it but I don't want to look like I'm piggy backing on another company's image. |

Once I added video clips to my website, I stopped getting calls asking me a lot of basic questions...what do I wear, do the kids get to participate, etc etc.
When people can go to your website and see you work with an audience, it answers a lot of questions for them. Usually when they call, they've already decided they like you, and just want to know if you're available. I've had parents tell me that they watched the clips with their kids, and since the kids liked it, they booked me. It's almost as good as someone who saw you at another show and calls you up; they already know what you do and you're pre-sold. Jeff |
