I cannot for the life of me remember what site I saw a demo of this trick on. I know it's available on dvd for sure. I think its on Max Mavens video mind series but I don't know the name of it. Heres the effect. The magician writes a prediction on a piece of paper and places it aside in full view. Then tells the spectator to IMAGINE there are 4 coins laying on the table. A quarter, dime, nikel, and a penny. Next he instructs the spectator to pick up any of the imaginary coins and toss it in the air and catch it. Then the spectator is told to look on their hand and see whether it is heads or tails. When the spectator reveals the value of the coin and whatever side it landed, the prediction that was written just moments ago matched! Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've been looking for this trick for ever. Thanks guys.

I don't know what it is, but I like the sound of it.
Will be interested to find out myself. |

The Max Maven version of this effect is on the VideoMind DVDs and is called Positive/Negative. Do a search on the Café for threads listing other versions of the imaginary coin effect. The plot was pioneered by Larry Becker, I believe.
