Anyone know how many episodes are on those 4 tapes?

Looks like ALL of them. If you're after a number, why not call Stevens Magic and ask them?

Thanks Bob! Below is the response I got from Stevens Magic.
Hi James, The Magic Ranch Series is a 4-volume set of videos from Don Alan's Magic Ranch Series, unfortunately we are waiting for them to come in, we are in backorder for them at this time. I think there are four episodes per tape, but I'm not positive. We hope they will be here this week or next. Marcia |

Ronnie call the number for the misdirection store and he can ship them to you. misdirections has the biggest selection on books and videos. he has a lot of hard to find books. misdirections is one the best magic stores in the us. I know they have them cause I'm there all the time and I ask for them a week ago. so just call and find out.

There are 4 episodes per tape, if I remember correctly. They are an amazing set. Bill McIlhany (sp?) is the producer. He often advertises in the major magic magazines.

These are some of my favorite magic videos - they're wonderful. Plus you get to see a lot of the greats in their heyday - Clark Crandell (did I spell that right?), Himber, Fox, plus a lot of now passed guys. Plus, there's corny early 60's commercials that are so over the top by todays standards, they seem like Saturday Night Live sketchs.
Compare Don Alan to any of today's famous magi - he's in a whole different league. He comes across as a self-actualized ' swingin' 60's guy. Imagine a Liam Nielson with monkey sock puppet (my favorite routine on the set btw). You'll learn more from these than the latest ETM series, trust me. |
