In my 60's catalogs I see a 3 prediction slate effect called: U F Grant's Streamline Citation. It is a 3 prediction effect like Mental Epic , where the prediction is revealed on the back, except it states NO FORCES.
Is anyone here familiar with it? Are the new versions such as SLATE OF MIND using the same or similiar method? Thanks. |

In Grant's Fabulous Feats of Mental Magic the effect Citation is explained using a non gimmicked slate. The effect as explained does require a force and in this case of a playing card. I believe Maurice Fogel had such a slate that he used in a very similar effect that duplicated Mental Epic. Murf

There is a variation (essentially a modification to the mental epic slate) which allows you to perform the effect without a force.
Please message me if you'd like to know the method.
