Join us at www.geniimagazine.com as we turn to another excellent issue of Genii. On our cover this month is that gremlin of the grocery, that devil of the dime store, that Candid Camera-style trickster, Michael Carbonaro. Over many seasons of his TV show The Carbonaro Effect, he has teased, tantalized, and amazed many unsuspecting people. A few years ago he took the show on the road, performing live in, well, Michael Carbonaro Live! It’s been extremely well received and he’ll be back on the road post-pandemic. * We also have an interesting article on how to set up and perform magic in video chat situations like Skype and Zoom from Dr. Will Houstoun and Steve Thompson.
Columns this month from Jon Racherbaumer, Roberto Mansilla, David Kaye, Helge Thun, David Britland, Jim Steinmeyer, John Gaughan, and “The Eye” and “Magicana.” And of course there reviews at the back of the book. Obituaries include the legend Marvyn Roy and publisher Louis Falanga.

Another great issue of the Genii magazine! I especially enjoyed the "Magic Monologue" by Helge Thun. First only read it but later "discovered" the video: Combining his marvelous skills as an actor and a magician he presents his thoughts on (magic) miracles and what they might be good for: very entertaining, very funny but transporting a deeply serious message.
