I am trying to construct the following and any technical info would be greatly appreciated.
What I am after is some way of placing the end of a silk into a hat and then have it slowly go into the hat whilst holding the hat. A bit like the silk to ball effect but having a battery operated motor or something similar inside the hat. I want it to go fairly slowly but not too slowly and also somehow be able to start and stop it so it doesn't go into the hat straight away. I would probably attach the end to a spindle on the motor via a magnet maybe ? but it is the process of what motor or "toy" that I can disassemble and use that stumps me. I have tried to "take apart" toy models to achieve the above but with no luck so far. Thanks in advance. Stuart.

You need a slow RPM DC motor with a small makeup drum. Than add in a normally open switch with a remote.

Good luck on your order. My wife and I both have ordered something from china and both items took 7 weeks to arrive and those were items they said were in stock
