Okay, I need to find a good printer--but Im also looking for a cheaper price. I am printing a booklet that needs to be saddle stiched- do you of you know of a good place to use? Have any of you self-published your own booklet before??

Pretty much any place that can print (including Kinko's) can also do saddle stitching. Or, depending on the volume, you can do it yourself.

The problem is I live in a small town and we don't have a Kinko-or anything that does saddle stitch for that matter.

If you are having your booklet printed professionally, the printer will almost certainly be able to do the saddle stitching. If you are printing it yourself, consider doing the saddle stitching yourself as well. Bostitch makes an excellent low-volume saddle stitching tool that's widely available.
If you're producing it yourself, don't forget that you also need to trim the right-hand edge of the booklet (after folding and saddle stitching). Some people neglect this step, which looks very unprofessional. ... Doug
