I bought a video a while back. It was called Packet Trick Teach-In. It came with several packet tricks. The production quality wasn't very good, but it was only like fifteen bucks and came with 3 Packet tricks. They were well taught. Also on the video you will find packet tricks with normal cards.

There is a packet trick, I think named Wild card (which has been around for a while) where you show 8 jokers and one queen and put 4 jokers face up and 4 face down. Then you do various 'hocus pocus' with the single queen card and at the end of the trick all the jokers have turned into queens. Anyway, I like it.

There are many great to choose from, my favourites are:
- Michael Skinners 3 Card Monte, - Sam Schwartz Back Flip (found in Daryl's Fooler Doolers Vol.3), - Don Allens Double Back, check the demo: http://www.murphysmagicsupplies.com/vide......ack.html -e-
...As long as i`m not a world-champion at anything, the great reactions of doin` magic will do just fine.....

B'wave, reset, and Skinner's three card monte are my favorite packet effects. Also the Gaft Card Magic packet/deck tricks are good. Otherwise, I tend to keep away from packet trick. Spend your money on a good book of video. What is the oint of spending 15 dollars on one packet trick?

I suggest you buy stand-up monte. It's my favorite of all montes I've seen or used. It costs about 13 bucks at penguin magic, but it really is worth it.
And with a wave of my wand, under the cloth we find that...uh ...may I have another assistant please?

The Web by Jim Pace, and another vote for skinners 3 card monte. Even if you don't buy the stuff from penguin magic, you should go there and view their demos. You'll see which effects you like better and stuffs.

Color Monte, Wild Card, Vernon's Twisting the Aces and the Last Trick of Dr. Jacob Daley for me. All very strong and easy to re-set.

I agree with Gandalf about the Invisible Deck. There's a LOT you can do with it, and you can even use a different presentation for each of several tables.
I also love Bob Farmer's "Bammo Monte Monster"! Perfect for walk-around, and more logical than the other montes I've seen. Dan.

Invisible Deck and Brainwave are not packet tricks.

I never really got packet tricks... I mean we carry them in this wallet for SPECIAL CARDS...even if we take them out of the deck for them to look regular, these people aren't stupid.. they know they are trick cards.. so much drama and emphasis will be put on these cards for 2-3 minutes, they HAVE to be thinking something is up.. If card warp is a packet trick, its the only one I do...

One of my favourites as well as Twisted Sisters is Danny Archers Eye Test, various cards turn over, backs change colour etc. and end with the backs becoming one of those opticians eye test charts.
For a fun routine that is suitable for kids and those not into cards try Spooks by Mark Leveridge, it is a card trick but with ghosts and a haunted house, great for tables of mixed families. |

My vote goes to Bob King's Mirreversal. Been doing this for years and have worn out several sets. It never fails to stun. He has others, Flustration, etc as well. If you like packet effects check him out.

My favorite so far has to be "flip flop cards" from http://www.corbinmagic.com check it out. All his stuff has demo vids and also instructional vids when you purchase. He has more packet tricks too I think but this one I like the best. 4 cards.... each one takes turns turning face down, then the backs all change colors, then a kicker ending. you gotta see it. great for resteraunt or bar magic.

Twisted Sisters by John Bannon is great - same idea as B'Wave but more impressive.
