About The Author David Kaye

Review: This is a prize catch if you can get this booklet. Many times on the Magic Cafe it has been said that it is not the magic that's important, entertainment and presentation is Number 1.

Just about every trick you buy comes with instruction and the effect, however, if one performs it that way in front of kids it really flops. This booklet exposes the secret to developing great routines from any trick. The instructions state the start of the trick and how it should end. What most instructions lack is what goes in between the start and end. Silly Billy in his lectured demonstrated how he got 10 minutes of fun and laughter out of the Coloring Book trick. Silly Billy did the same with the Crystal Silk Tube and it was great. The key is not the trick, it is the "stuff" that goes on in between the start and finish that makes the trick!

David Kaye (Silly Billy) supplies a check off sheet and the more suggested methods incorporated into your routine the better the routine becomes when performing for children. The sheet is worth the price of the book. One warning, after you read this book you will look at you routines with a different perspective and will change it for the better by adding the elements to make it the "Perfect Kid Show Trick."

Silly Billy's Example routine of the Crystal Silk Tube Routine alone is worth the price of this book. Everything in this book is absolutely great. This booklet is a must have if you every are going to do magic for kids.
