Hi all,
I am looking at a large Joe Lefler's Pro Table. I was wondering what your experience is with it. How durable is it? Can the shelves inside of it be taken out and rearranged? Where is the best place to buy one at the best price? All of your help is appreciated! Sammy |

I have the best price. PM me for pricing.
And I ship for free to a US address. Shipping outside the US is still remarkabley cheap. Just ask. I do not know if the shelves can be re-arranged. In the small table, they cannot. But it's a fantastic product and well worth the price, believe me. It is very durable. I use one all the time. I would not be without one now. I'm hooked. For performance I drape about 2 yards of black velvet fabric over the top of it so it hangs down in front. The small one carries my whole act, pouch, fruit, hat, velvet drape, extra stuff. It's really great. I recommend it highly. Either the small or the big. I had a hard time deciding which I wanted. I had them both out of the box, rubbing my chin, tapping my foot, etc. Finally I took the small becasue it would be easier to get into my car. I also use a 20x26 inch table-top on top of it as my working surface. Frank

I have the large Lefler Pro Suitcase Table (bought it directly from Joe). First off, I LOVE this item!
Have been using it in every show for over 10 years (over 1500 shows). The bottom inner shelf is movable, the top inner shelf is permanent. The outside is non-woven polyolefin fibre, so you can velcro items to it. Here are three things I have learned about it: 1) Don't do a burned bill routine in a aluminum pie plate on top of it. The heat melted the fibre, and now I have a bald patch on part of the top of my table. It is not high heat resistant. The next time, I used a fondue pot on top of a pedestal for burning items. No more melted spots. 2) If you are traveling on the airlines with it, even though you might wrap it in a webbing strap, it may still get broken. Mine broke at the hinge, all the screws were ripped out, because they really yanked on it, threw it on it's side, etc. (Arrgggh! Airlines!) I was able to repair it. So, next time, I will use a case to protect it. 3) If you are repeatedly attaching and removing your signs to the front (attached by velcro) you will find that the fibre starts to come unwoven after a while. I attached some additional female velcro to the contact spots on the table, with a staple gun. Now, it can withstand the removal and reattachment of different show signs. Hope these ideas help. - Donald

Donald,
Great tips on the table! Those are the kind of little gems that really make a difference! Thanks! |

I kept an eye on EBAY until a used one became available. It has worked out very well. I particularly like the quick set-up and take-down that protects your props from curious little hands when performing for children.

Donald,
I also have the large table and am quite happy with it. Thanks for the excellent tips. I am in Victoria about once a year. We should connect. Attended the Banachek lecture there last month. Lucky I ran into Tony Eng early in the day who told me about it. Quite a nice group of members. Renaldi |
