Has anyone tried this on eight year olds?
Hi, yes! Though I find some overweight 8 year olds don't stay stuck to the ceiling long enough, their parents do not like them being signed and the hotels ext complain about them making a noise when they shut up for the night . so I prefer to stick to cards! Phillip |

I think you have all missed the point. I think this is a great trick for eight year olds. Treat them as adults.
Mind the magic?

Pro's and Con's? On a more serious note: Pros: The kids this age love this sort of trick. They will talk about it forever. The initial reaction is best when the cards come free of the rubber band and fall all over the place. Cons: If the cards fall all over the place, the kids will scramble to pick up the cards which is probably a bit more meyhem than you have in mind. This trick is best done in a setting where they are not seated where they can easily scramble.

One thing we are overlooking is where are you planning on trying out this effect? If you are in someone's home, then throwing a card and sticking it on their ceiling may not be the best of ideas. They may not want it there, it may leave a mark and the process of throwing the cards up could knock soemthing over of value. Also, if the cards fall and scatter, then you are causing mayhem as the kids go nuts trying to grab them all.
