I really want to thank you and your moderators for making this a wonderful site for magicians. I have been made to feel welcome and look forward to my daily visits.



I’ve always felt that the true purpose of the magician is to plant the seeds of probability within their audience, that they might grow to see and use the magic that surrounds all of us.



Now I think this is an extremely important mission that every conjurer must face when they begin learning the art.



At least that has been my philosophy as a magician for over 40 years. It bothers me when I see younger guys with the attitide that "...my magic’s better than your magic". When you have loved magic as much as I have, you realize that the friendships that you earn with your fellow peers are your greatest rewards as a magician.



I think the Magic Cafe has been doing a good job of getting people past their egos and back on goal of being magicians.



Now I’d like to suggest that perhaps the Magic Cafe could have a bulletin board that would allow individual members to post what magic conventions they are planning on attending, and perhaps it would allow the community a chance to meet one another face to face and get to know one another. Just a thought!



My sweet wife and I are planning on attending Magi-Fest in Columbus, Ohio. We would welcome the opportunity to meet other patrons of the Magic Cafe.



Anyway, thanks for a wonderful place to come and share a cup of magic.

We do have a forum regarding conventions, clubs, get-togethers, etc.

It's near the bottom of the cafe, it's called So happy together...

Thank you KingsandQueens for your kind words and being a part of this surr-E-al world that they all scoffed at.



Everyday you, the members, show the magic world that gossip, flaming, and disrespect for the art and each other are not the natural ways of magicians.



I hope that all will use the "So Happy Together" forum to post about magic conventions and gatherings that you plan to attend. Through this forum we can meet face to face and revel in The Art!



As a collective group our presence will become even more known through our collaboration at conventions. Cafe goers, do something remarkable at these events and when they ask, invite them to take a look themselves at The Magic Cafe.
