I'd like to know your opinion on the best rubberband trick that you know. It could be a linking trick, or with a ring or whatever. Just thought I'd see what you all thought was a really good effect that I could add to my collection.

I will completely agree with Vinny on 1, 2 and 3 in that order, although 1 and 2 are similar methodologically.

Dan Harlan's effect that Michael Ammar calls traveling cash and crazy man hand cuffs know it's not a Michael Ammar effect but don't know for sure where it started.

Crazy man hand cuffs = This effect was invented by Arthur Setterington, England, and later refined by Herb Zarrow.

I have 2 that I like:
1) Crazy Man's Handcuffs 2) ???? - don't remember the name, but learned it from one of the Harlan vids. Thread a finger ring with a rubber band. Stretch out the rubber band about 8 inches. Put the ring next to your left fingers, and raise your right hand higher than your left. The ring begins moving up, as if it is crawling up the band, toward your right hand, seemingly on its own. Great little effect.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Does anyone know the name of the trick Chessmann is speaking of? Or which Harlan video it's on? It sounds great.
Also, thanks to Vinny for the vid demos! I'm gonna have to get that "Godfather" video... Trevor |
