There is one offered on the Magic Auction site

Below is the discription:

JUMBO
DREAM VISION
DON WAYNE

This is the authorized version of Don Wayne/Andre Kole's stunning ESP Prediction. David Copperfield performed this on his Alcatraz special and featured it in his tour for a number of years. It is versatile and the routine can be customized very easily. This prop has some wear in the normal places and has seen some use. There are still YEARS of life left in it and can be a showstopper for the right performer! This prop travels in a beautiful foam-lined, fully telescoping, fiber case with wheels.

Don actually has some brand new units in stock. I believe if my memory serves me correctly you can get a new large Stage version (4'x8') for $2,800.

Bill, are you sure that is for the larger one??

Seemed to me it was a lot pricier.

I remembered it used to sell for only US$700 when it was first released and advertised in Genii Magazine many years ago. Wow the price has really gone up.

When was that?!

The lowest price I ever saw on the stage version was $1,500.00 and that was nearly 20 years ago.

There are other variants to this piece that you may want to consider. Paul Osborne had a great concept in Genii some years ago... all the dirty work was done right infront of the audience. Too, the method can be used in an alternate manner, as a demonstration in Spirit Writing vs. a Premonition.

Though many loath the man, you may try to track down Valentino. He used to have two of them and I doubt that he's using either at this point in time...

Hey there fellow magi!

I have always loved the Dream Vision effect. And over the course of several years I have seen similar predictions. All of them using a "special method" to accomplish the effect. I am looking for a way to do the Dream Vision of that type of effect with only using myself on stage. Does anyone know of a possible idea of how to accomplish this? I have been playing with this for a little while to see if it could be accomplished. PM me if you would like to.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure. I have a call in to Don, so I'll ask him when we talk. But I'm 99% sure the large stage version (4'x8') was $2,800. However that does not include an ATA style case.

Robert,
Look for an effect called "Postcards From The Road". It will allow you to perform the effect you desire.

Here you go. I copied and pasted:

"The magician invites a girl on stage and asks her to dream that she is out on a date. He then makes her weave a story of what they did on the date, where they went etc. Throughout the effect there is a black board hanging behind them in full view. When she finishes her story he uncovers the blackboard and on it you can read the same dream "i met this girl at such and such a place. She was wearing xyz color clothes......we went out to xyz and kissed good bye at xyz street etc".

Dream Vison is one of the best stage mental effects, take a look at Copperfields Alcatraz TV special."

I owned Dream Vision several years ago. It is a great trick, but be aware it is not for the solo performer.

I saw Paul daniels use this on his TV show in the 80's/90's.people mixed up scarbble letters and picked out single tiles to make a word which was then revealed on the blackboard!! It has always fried my brain;at least now I know what the prop was, although I don't know the method.I expect it's one of the strongest mentalism predictions going.
