Anything put out by these guys (books, dvds...etc...) I will get because they seriously are two of the best magicians I have ever seen. They are also 2 nice guys...really down to earth and cool to hang out with!

Oh, no, the Buck and Devo clowns are up in arms again? I wish they'd give it a break.

I'm not trying to start anything but why would you say a comment like that? Who are you to call me and the others who stated their opinion's on the DVD clowns? Very easy to be a computer tough guy isn't it?

I didn't mean it that way. It's just that when I've had an opinion about them, their loyal fans freak out and start calling em names. I appologise if I offeneded you or any other Café memeber.

The demo video is not very convincing, infact its very bad. But seeing Mike Powers give a good review, this should be good, I guess.

Hi harishjose,

The demo video does not offer any of the magic featured except for a variation of Jason's Woble Vanish (from the elbow)...and this DVD set is PACKED!!! The demo video solely gives you an idea of who we are, some of the footage shot for fun around the casinos, and a few of the bonus sequences. It is funny how approving everyone is that has seen us live or has enjoyed the actual product, while those that haven't still give their "educated" opinion. I am sorry the trailer is not up to par...out of our hands. Please wait for reviews to be clear on what we offer.

Therefore, here are two effects out of DVD #2. I would like to share more, but this is all I have access to. (Taken from magicmaker's website).

This is one of my variations of "Translocation" featuring cleaner handling and an amazing backfire. I was killin' it at the "Coinvention" with this, so decided to share it with you in this set.

This is Jason's answer to performing "Translocation" anytime, anywhere.

Enjoy!

Being under the wing of Jason as a student for the past four years, I can definatly say him and John have put some great stuff on this DVD. Both of these cats have spent an unfathemable amount of time on perfecting thier effects. I have spent many nights with them just in awe at the knowledge and dedication they both share in the study of magic, many times falling asleep only to awake to them still talking and making up effects. They have truly put together a brilliant, practical set of effects, to pass up magic like this, well don't, get the DVD's you wont be disappointed.

All proper credit was given to the correct people. A lot of things like the Diving Board Double Variant that is taught on the dvd, I have permission from Lee to teach my version. We did a lot of searching and emails. We even put a disclaimer at the end of the dvd that says we wanted to make sure every person gets credit that deserves it. If we missed something, we want to make it right!

I don't think you should overdo the flourish especially in the restaurant.Because for me,all the respond from your audience is just:Wow,fast hand......and later on when you are doing some strong, impossible, self working, clean, neat transposition with your cards, the same audience will tell each other "wow,he is fast"......rather saying supposedly"that was amazing!how can you do that,...."in baffled. With flourish, your fast hand is killing your wonderful magic!!
Don't attack me,this is just my personal opinion,in fact I like doing flourish.............in front of my mirror and while watching TV.
Never ever have bad thought, you never know who is listening....

Sorry dude, you could not be more wrong. I work 4 restuarants a week and people cant get enough of it. They are also blown away by the effects that I do. The flourishes just add to the excitment. Ive had people come in that I have done stuff before with there buddies and say "Do that killer card trick again. Oh yea, add the crazy cut thingy you did too"

This just shows that they were blown away by the effect and couldn't forget the flourish. Its all in presentation. Im not saying what you said is bad. Maybe its just not your thing. no biggy. Do what makes you feel good about your magic.

I couldn't say do flourishes enough. The more the better. Of course keep the magic great. Otherwise they will only remember the flourishes.

Try it out and see what you think.

don't forget to tip your hooker.

Great news...I talked to the manufacturer and the DVD's are going out today, so they should be available the middle of next week. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Excellent, John! I am very excited to get my copy of the DVDs. Those who are familar with the work that you and Jason do have been exceedingly complimentary, and I am certain your DVD set will be nothing short of amazing and very practical.

I agree with MagoStevo. He did not say people don't like Flourishes, but that flourishes degrade the Magic.
