What is a good source for card vanishes? I am still new to the pasteboards.
I have seen a few videos with vanishes like tent vanish, and slide vanish (Michael Ammar).

Also, what are some of your personal favorites?

Thank you (again!) in advance,

Josh Erdahl

Musashi - the back palm is probably the most popular - Jay Sankey's "pup tent vanish" allows for a face up vanish - which is my favorite.

It might be time for you to commit to one of those videos you were looking at - a video of card sleights will be a tremendous utility for you in the career to come.

Blessings,
Todd

I would say that Jeff McBrides card videos are the way to go, and if your looking for downloadable teaching videos, check out http://outtasightmagic.com/
you'll need to pass a test, but the videos are amazing Smile

I also like using the back palm. The way I learned was by watching the videos provided by Jeff Mcbride. Mcbride has three card manipulation videos and also has videos for coins, balls, thimbles and stage. I would recommend these videos.

I'll have to agree about Jeff McBride here ... his work is fantastic and a good way to go if you're new "to the pasteboards".

buy "Premonition" by Eddie Joseph and you can vanish the chosen card and produce it from almost anywhere you please...

this routine costs next to nothing...but plays BIG TIME...

every card man should own this effect - regards, Wulfie
