It doesn't seem so long ago that the Cafe reached 2000 members. Looking at the screen, I see we're nearly at 3000.

We're gonna celebrate...

Another 1000


I remember when we had our first 20 or 30 members, we thought that was the coolest thing in the world.

Now as we approach 3000, I'm starting to think people like it here


What I wonder is, where do all these people keep coming from?

It is not the case that they love it here, But there is no better alternative so they are bound to it.

Later on it makes addiction like the coffee itself. This is the cause of the ever growing society. I think it is more than nice.

I particularly wish the Cafe the best as it remains my favorite discussion board.
The number of beginners and legends I've met here (chatting in public forum and private) would of never been possible,with such ease, had it not been for the Internet and the Cafe.
As I told Steve Brooks......I'm afraid the Cafe is here to stay.

Oh and by the way, Martha Stewart asked that I quote her:
"The Magic Cafe? Oh yeah...its' a good thing".

I still remember the old days, wondering if anyone would even bother to post here.
Now 3000 members later, and it feels like we have always been here. I cannot imagine a day without logging on to the Cafe, it just wouldn't be the same.

Tha Cafe started very much like a science project. Like Dr. Frankenstein, I spent a great deal of time finding just the right ingredients.

Now the Cafe is this huge monster that is wandering through the forest, with me often having to confront the band of villagers who are waving their pitchforks and carrying their torches!

It is very gratifying to see that the Cafe has become such an influence in the magic community. So many people helping one another, and often creating new and bonding friendships along the way.

In that light, The Magic Cafe is doing exactly what I had originally invisioned. A place where magicians helping magicians is not a dream, but a reality.

There is still so much more that I have planned for this site, I know the second year will prove to be just as much a challenge as the first.

I want to thank my staff and all of you for your continued support which has made The Magic Cafe the number one magic site on the net. Here's looking toward 3000 more.
