Yesterday I performed 1 and half hour straight at a wedding. Unfortunately it was a standing recepiton before the actual dinner, so no tables for my cups and balls and other effects. So today I wonder what would be the absolute best standing up magic items to perform for an ADULT AUDIENCE (not children). My 5 best pieces are below, let me hear about yours so I can get inspired to buy some new tricks. I'm especially interested in non-card tricks.

1. Above, beside, below (coins a cross to spectators hands, Paul Green/Larry jennings)
2. Card Warp (Roy Walton)
3. Card to pocket (Jay Sanket style), or card to Mullica wallet (Tom Mullica, - Eugene Burger style).
4. The proffessors rope symphony (by Joachim Solbjerg)
5. Ring and ribbon symphony (Jay Scott Berry, and some moves from "Ring leader" by Gregory Wilson).

Others: Ambitious Card, Sponge balls, Invisible deck, Color Monte.

Remember standing up situation (no tables) and an adult audience. Your best 5 pieces, and feel free to write the name of the creator of the trick also.

Regards

Dishonest Abe seems like a good idea. I have yet to acquire it, however.
I stopped doing Slydini silks because I just have not thought of a suitable ending.

Since I started using a pouch to carry small items, it allows me a few more things that I might not be able to otherwise, such as ...
Bill-oon
Ninja Rings
Coins Thru Silk

I carry cards and spongeballs as well. That makes 5.

So, when I am standing amongst standing people, I'd probably do:

-Ambitious card
-Twisting the aces/Dr Daley's last trick (using the breast pocket to put the aces)
-Sack's spotted sorcery (dice)
-Charming chinese challenge (Hooser)
-No-smoking (a paddle-lighter routine)
(- coin across into spec's hand)

Jonathan.

Ambitious card to wallet
Sponge balls/rabbits
Bannon's Stranger's Gallery
coins across or one coin routine
rubberband routine
also, a multiple selection routine

You put the coins in your left hand and one at a time they travel to your right hand - no table necessary. If you want to take the coins from your right hand and put them somewhere else, and you don't have a table, ask a spectator to hold them for a moment. If you have neither a table nor a spectator, don't bother doing coins across.

Mine:

Coins Across (two variations)
Professor's Nightmare
Stabbed Coincidence
Number 2 Pencil
Crazy Man's Handcuffs
(also, Expansion of Texture / Copper Penetration)

One of the variations I do is based on Roth's routine. Good luck. Learn it well.

Rubberband routine (parts or all of it) includes CMH, Travelling Cash, Band Thru Thumb and Ring That Goes Up.
Sponge balls
Fl!p Stick
Holey Moley
Card to Forehead with card change kicker finish

Substitutions can occur and include: Ambitious Card routine, Fl!p St!ck, Ring on Wand, Kathy's Screwy Finger Bit and 1 coin fluuyesque routine.

I always play to the responses of the audience, so I substitute some material for others, depending on how the crowd reacts.
