I was thinking of getting some dai vernon books...
Should I get Vernon Chronicles 1 - 4 and Dai Vernons Book of Magic or should I get the dai vernon dvds? or both? does a lot of the material overlap? |

Start with the Book of Magic. And when you have digested it, get the Chronicles one by one, starting with volume 1.
Its also exiting to watch him perform, and talk about things related to magic on his DVD's, but as I don't have them, I don't know their quality. But Vernon is always Vernon.... It's not a bad idea to also study Vernon's bible "Expert at the Card Table", by S.W. Ernase. Peo

Start with Dai Vernons Book of Magic. I have all of the DVD's and, while he is old and frustrated at times it is an awesome experience to watch. Gary Ouellet, Steve Freeman and Michael Ammar help to keep things moving.

Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're probably right. |

Just got an email about the latest L & L releases. Among them is a set of Dai Vernon books and memorabilia - including all the books mentioned above! The drawback is the price for the total package - $995!!! Check out the L & L Publishing website!

What a beautiful set of books! Thanks for the L&L lead magicbern! Though they are all "hand-signed" by the Professor...I wonder how long this special edition has been in production?
