I just received mine and sort of figured out how the trick worked before I ordered it, however, I thought the rings went together another method from what I had anticipated. Having said that, it's still a nice effect, but it takes a bit of practice getting the last 2 or 3 rings in position.

Tod, having bought this trick, unfortunately those reviews are true. If you are familiar with the "wonder silk vanishing tube" by viking, I came up with my own version of this trick using that tube.

Is the "Wonder Silk Vanishing Tube" by Viking easy to perform? I'm thinking about buying one, but wanted advice from the members. Thanks.

The add for Wonder Silk Vanishing Tube by Viking says "no pulls, no body loads, nothing added to or taken away, vanish happens within the tube, in Spectator's hands", etc. I'm curious to know the methodology then before I buy one. Is this some kind of thumb tip type move?

I picked this up from a local magic shop about a year ago.Only cost me $10.00 in the "used magic"display case.I havent used it because I ve had the same problem hobbsy described. The thumb tip is too hard to extract(i ve tried more than one type too.)

Thanks Captain for the information on the "Wonder Silk Vanishing Tube". I don't think I'll get one any more. Sounds good in the ads (like a lot of magic tricks), only to be problematic or impractical to use. I appreciate the info. Best, Joe.

Oh, OK. No worries Captain. I re-read the posts and figured out you were talking about the disintegration tube. I went on Viking's site and read all the reviews on the Viking Wonder Silk Vanishing Tube, and they all sound like everyone loves that one. So, I probably will get one after all. Thanks for the clarification. I appreciate it. Best, Joe.
