The humor is in the fact that she is claiming to be the real deal. The burden of proof is upon her! The fact that this money hungry family is using a technique that I myself have used is irony. I LOVE IT! The subtelty in that one line sums up her complete act. To those who know what I am talking about, its funny...
How many of you have ever duct taped your face? I'm betting few, and even fewer would have the skill to understand my original post. Perhaps that's why you don't understand it Cheeky Monkey! Sarcasm, that's me. And I will never appologize for that. Now I must ask, why did you feel an urge and a lack of feeling, a need, to exploit my personality which I PURPOSELY conveyed in a message? No offsense taken, but this does raise a point about your own issues. |

Okay, so what about that dog that can "smell" when a person has cancer.....
I wonder if he does it for the treats, or if it is real? He does not talk, so I do not think he is trying to make money- he is a dog. So who can say that there might not be some person who is somewhere a bit better at seeing or smelling something about another person on some level that they may not even be aware of? Note: this does not mean that I feel THIS particular instance is real, (or that Z is being too cheeky- I think he is spot on) but like they say in the old book, there are more things in heaven and earth.....

Now, doc Z, are you implying that being hungry for money is a bad thing or funny?
I was thought you were American. But the first girl did the deal did she not. Can you? Not being a wise guy here but really can you if it came down to it. The little girl can! And what is the deal with duct taping your face? Hell man, there are far better ways to exfoliate! Might I suggest a gentle facial scrub and a hydrating mask. Cheers Jack |

Dear Jack, I could use just about any material to duct tape and blindfold myself. I can't get into the humor with out exposing the effect, sorry gentlemen and possible ladies.
Have you ever read Mind and Magic By David Berglas? Theres a legend, he teaches how to allow others to blindfold you with tape and coins and even handkerchief on top of all that, a heavy scarf around your head like a draping cloth. So yes. Could I duct tape myself and allow others to and still see? Only if I am allowed to use my X-Ray vision! |

Dr_Zodiac wrote: Your original post came across, certainly to me, as finding the whole thread hilarious and the fact people were even bothering to talk about it, not that you found her claims hilarious. Maybe you did'nt intend it that way. Actually, I think you did'nt understand my post (I rather like a little sarcasm myself ). As I said, I was merely curious about your penchant for "wiseguy" remarks, IMO. Having read a few of your posts it's just something I noticed - I was'nt referring to just this thread. I hardly feel it showed any "lack of feeling" as you put it, but if I hit a nerve - I apologise. In fact, I find that comment somewhat odd. If you look through my posts I don't think you will find any lack of feeling towards anyone - on the other hand looking through some of your posts I think you will find quite a few "wiseguy" remarks. That was my point. Just MY opinion. However, I find your comment - "but this does raise a point about your own issues" - somewhat personal. You don't know me or anything about me - so I find that assumption a little over the top. |

Lay off the man, Doc is a great character. He's a wiseguy but that's half his appeal. I've heard he does a great blindfold act.

...Oh no...not another one!
Mr. McCleod, I suspect you are jumping on the bandwagon of backing up another poster who you "see" as more experienced...of course I could be wrong. I'm not arrogant enough to believe I'm always right I have nothing personally against Dr. Z, it was just an observation - I was simply responding to his post!! - |

I think the only way of settling this is if Dr. Zodiac ask the Russian girl to go on a blind date.

What bandwagon is this? Doctor Zodiac is a unique personality and from what I've seen, he's not afraid to rock a few boats. That's a good thing in my book.
Stop being so argumentative, it's too bloody cold for it. |

Thanks for posting the URL; it is interesting. It reminds me of the X-ray glasses that used to be advertised in comic books, except this appears to really work (through thin fabric anyway).
Actually, it's not an x-ray filter. It's an infrared filter. This page describes how it works: http://www.x-raycameras.com/how_work.htm |
