Do kids like color monte? Any story ideas for kids of this color monte... ( I do it with normal cards, not those diamond cards.)
I don't think that that dollar thing is good story for kids, any variations or story ideas!

I use the diamond cards for kids because its easier to understand and follow. I do change my patter though - I still stick with a gambling theme, but convert it into a lesson of how I got swindled and why it's not good to gamble. It tends to be very well received by the kids (and the parents, who appreciate the lesson).

Get a deck of blank face cards and do alittle editing with your PC to print different images on the cards for different storylines.
I have several stories that go with color monte. Try these : cards printed with Coke and Pepsi with the kicker card being Orange Juice cards printed with Teachers from Hogwarts with the kicker nbeing Harry Potter cards printed with candy and donuts with the kicker card being a vegtable Hope I helped get the cretive juices flowing. But keep in mind that if you are working for kids at a kids party, small cards are very hard to see. I would try and do what Patrick suggested but try them with larger size jumbo cards. Thsi way everyone can see without the kids creeping up on top of you.

I would just print to paper and then spray mount the designs to the backs of real playings cards. Then turn it over and cut using an x-acto knife. It should give you a finished and clean card design.
I would still try and use jumbo cards for this if you could. Unless you perform seated with the hildren around you, it will become hard for the kids to see the cards and pictures and will create creeping kids trying to get on top of you to see what you are showing them. Kyle

Bennie, Sorry about that. Let me try and explain it a bit better for you. Spray mount is just an adhesive that is compressed with air and can be bought in a can form. You simply print out your design. Then turn it over and then spray the glue from the can onto the back of the paper. The can sprays the glue evenly over your surface. Then you simply adhere the paper to the card.
The X-Acto Knife is just a sharp knife usually used in model making. However, any sharp cutting knife would work for you to be able to trim out the rest of the paper after you adhere the design to it. Hope this helps. Kyle

Spray glue is probably the same thing. I just am not sure what they call it where you are at. If it is glue in a can that is sprayed and goes on as a mist, then you have the right stuff.

Hi. I tried but the paper glows and you can see the marks in card. eg three hearts and the numbers. I tried thicker paper but didnot help. maybe when they dry `?

Buy and use blank deck cards. This is what I do. Then you do not have the problem. The card fronts are blank and you get no show through happening. You could also try scraping the ink a bit off the card using a sharp knife. If you are careful. you can pick a card that has little ink onit (like a 2 of hearts) and scrape the ink on the card before applying your glued sheet. I have done it this way as well.
