Dear Café,
I had to post here ASAP! I just saw Luke Jermays lecture in Stickney Illinois, it was phenomenal! Unbelievable. I was wrong to believe that suggestion doesn't work. It does and Luke proves it! He has thought out EVERY contingency. Reading Luke and seeing him perform are two different things! Very Impressive! Luke, thanks for a great night of mentalism. |

I was at the same lecture as Dr Z, and what amazed me most about Luke is that he is (for the most part) propless. I had read Lukes books, seen his DVD, as well as literature from other mentalists like Kenton Knepper, etc, and have applied some of the principles to my patter, but did not realize how powerful a show can be put on using suggestion alone. Anyone who applies these principles can as well. I know my act is going to change dramatically after watching Luke. Luke is ondeed one of the best thinkers in our art.

Oddest moment of the evening: a few of us going out for food afterward and ending up at a place called The Jedi Diner, where the first word you noticed when you opened up the menu was "SUGGESTIONS."
Every problem contains the seeds of its own solution. Unfortunately every problem also contains the seeds of an infinite number of non-solutions, so that first part really isn't super helpful.

It was fun hanging out with all of you last night. Thank you for making my quick trip through chicago pleasurable.
Luke's lecture was phenomenal. If you have a chance to catch this lecture, don't miss it. If suggestion doesn't interest you - don't miss this lecture! Luke may very well change your mind about such things. -George Tait |

Hey George...
Checked out your website... Excellent interactivity with suggestion. It WAS indeed a blast hanging with you at the lecture and Jedi Diner. Hope to see you around. Quinn, What about the AA dude that came over and asked us what kind of group we were? Luke's answer... Performing arts... Another moment during the lecture.... "Why does he need to know the color?" Some people I guess are just not supposed to know..... |

It was my pleasure to meet all of you. Even the strange old guy who couldn't understand why his pulse wasn't stopping even though he wasn't involved with the routine.

While I couldn't go out with all of you to the aforementioned diner, I'm very glad you had a great time at the lecture, and proud to have helped bring Luke Jermay to Chicago on behalf of Assembly #3 of the S.A.M.
Thanks again for attending, and come back soon if you're in the area. Next month: Max Howard! Best, Neil
