I've decided I want to learn some rubber band magic but I've not the slightest (let's ignore the pun) where to begin. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, I will repeat a bit of info for ur reference. Get Dan Harlen's 3 Vol DVD on rubber band magic or get his latest bandshark DVD Pinnacle is also a good impromptu effect to do with a ring and rubber band cheerios

I was just wondering whats the best type of bands to use for most band effects. I was looking thru the local Office Depo and they sell a variety and didn't want to buy 500 bands that I cant use, any suggestions?

For most rubber band tricks #19 is reccomended for a man, and #18 for a woman, and if you are going to buy 500 rubber bands at a time keep them in your refrigerator.
