Not in my area.. palm readers are a dime a dozen ( SF bay area ). Frankly..it depends on your skill as a reader, your marketing, networking etc. In my area I bet the average close-up magician doing walk around can fetch more than someone doing walk around readings.
Self concept is destiny..

$150.00 for the first hour and $75.00 for ever hour after...thats a fair rate. Lee Earle is a master at walk around Palmistry, perhaps he could help you out with the price and some good tips and effects.

Heck I told the guy much more.
But I guess it depends on ones offering. Cheers Jack |

In my heyday of Vodou, my conscious would never let me charge more than 21 bucks for readings...my God Mother/Guru would pull in 160 bucks + for her work..but that's what reputation is all about...builds a good foundation...
so work your way up... but if they got a rolex wrapped around their wrist...well then start at 100!!!!LOL |

Always ask for more you can lower it later if need be but you can never make it higher.
150 for 2 hours would be good for a week to week gig but 500 - 800 for 2 hours corporate. Why not? |

I believe that even in palmistry and all cold reading teqniques, less is more. Two hours are more than enough for any reading. It is not how long but how you perform...
I mean if they hire you to perform magic for one hour in a party,ok you have to perform for one hour.In palmistry you have to see things different...
Don't wait for the perfect moment...Take a moment and make it perfect!!!

Patient One:
I'm curious about what you do with palmistry. Would you mind elaborating a bit on what you do how you learned to do it? Does this require supernatural ability? Thanks, Jim |
