I have been waiting for this day that I would be able to get my hands on a book from Ascanio. However, Im a little confused. The contents make it seem like this is a book more like Ortiz's "Strong Magic". The description says that it also includes his cards magic though. Can someone clarify? I don't see in the contents where it is listed.

I just bought this book and plan on writing a formal review when I recieve it. I have been really interested in ascanio since I learned the Ascanio Spread. I bought it from Hocus Pocus. By the way it costs around 6 dollars shipping since it doesn't tell you

You can call Hocus Pocus anytime and we will give you an estimate on the shipping charges. There is no way for us to know the EXACT shipping charge of any item until it is sent. However, once your parcel is sent out, we can send an email to you letting you know what the shipping charges were.

I received my copy this week (fortunately I live in Austria which took only 2 days for delivery from Spain) and I have to tell you: BUY THIS BOOK!!! It will be a real jewel in your magic library! Its layout and typesetting is absolutely marvellous, and of course its contents is a MUST for every cardician anyway... I will start reading it next week and I'm really looking forward to it!
Hope we can discuss it here in the near future... so go get your money, order it and ENJOY! Cheers, Robert |

I think the other books of Ascanio Material of this series will be also very interisting. There are some ideas which are unkommon in the english area. Stefan Behrens |

How does this book compare with strong magic?

When I get mine, Ill tell you! But you probably don't want to listen to my comparison, I am a bit rough on Strong Magic as you can see by some of my recent posts. I hope this book isn't as much of a chore to read as Darwin's book.
Merry Christmas
