Oh, sorry .. I was thinking of a 4" steel ring although different routine(s) from the rope and ring effects.....

...there's Okito's OHO explained in the book Okito on Magic (I think) and originally sold with props by Irelands/Magic Inc.> a silk handkerchief is threaded through a large ring, both ends gathered with the large ring swinging down in the center of the silk "rope"; next a smaller ring is dropped over both ends/it cannot fall off because the larger ring threaded on the silk stops it. Now the smaller ring is seen to penetrate through the larger ring and come off the silk.
Clever handling and all can be examined (no gimmicks). Not bad! ![]() |
