If this has been discussed earlier, please direct me to the resource.
I was going through an old tape of the late Michael Skinner, he did a table hopping act where he borrowed a salt shaker at a table, poured almost the whole thing into his closed fist, only to then pull out a white breast pocket silk who he had "stolen" from one of the gentlemen sitting at this table.

I understand this is a typical TT routine, but still wondering about the sources for the switch. Glad if anyone could help me out.

Jack.

I believe "Darwin's Encyclopiedia of thumb Tip Magic" has this trick explained with many others.

If the salt shaker was nearly full a t.t. could not be used but if a small amount was poured into the hand then that is what he used. I am sure that is the case.

You can find the salt vanish in other books as well not just Darwin's

Thanks for the input.
Is Darwin's Encyclopiedia of thumb Tip Magic a book?
I've seen somewhere that he just released a DVD on the subject.

The first t.t. book Darwin wrote was 101 thumbtip Micacles He wrote 3-4 more but they do not hold water to the first one Gary wrote. I don't like the others at all some out here may but to me the others books by Gary were just rehash and nothing of real value. If you can find his first book get it. Pick up the dvds as well. But don't bother with the other books Gary wrote.
