This is from his "Mind F/X" book. Has anyone performed this? I'm wondering about the easiest way to switch the signed wad with the dummy wad. I'm also wondering how effective this is. It's pretty easy to track the wads once they fly out of the straws.

Switch it in your mouth. Load a dummy, then when you catch it, switch it in your mouth.

I thought this effect was originally created by Mr. Scott Alexander and shown and explained on his dvd, either the 10:00 o'clock or Midnight Show Dvd. Both of which are excellent dvds and this is a terrific and fun effect.

Andrew does have a spitball catch. While we were both living in Florida we discussed the idea of a spitball bullet catch. He went in one direction with it and I went in another. But both versions came out of our time spend jamming in FLA.

I think it would be a bit too small for stage. IMHO

Which spitball catch does everyone prefer? Honestly I don't find mayne's to be that powerful of an effect.
