Hi All,
I've just purchased the Piatt Envelope; (What's a Piatt Envelope?) My question is, to those that have one, is it easy to build new envelopes? Do you have a template? Dr. Zordas |

In its basic form, two outs.
Then you'll rise right before my eyes, on wings that fill the sky, like a phoenix rising!

However I must say that the Piatt envelope is nicely made (I'm speaking of the kraft/manila type because, in my opinion, the letter/invitation one is too evident!) but, as "the Sponge" wrote, if you really want to make them up yourself (aside from ethics which is not the aim of my post) just buy two or three Piatt envelopes and then, very carefully, slice one apart... Voilà , you have your template! Also, Dan Harlan has a very simple to make 2-Outs envelope in one of his videos. Sean Fields has his Seanvelope (2-Outs) and in his upcoming book has an interesting 4-Outs envelope...

Yes, obviously I did think about taking mine apart, but without knowing the jiggery-pokery involved, I didn't want to end up with a scrap of Manila fit only for the bin. The Piatt Envelopes are not just two envelopes glued together! Dr. Zordas |
