For over two years now I have deliberated as to whether I should buy an effect called "Wedding Rings" Does anyone have this effect and how great is it?

Wedding Rings is as good as the presentation that you create for it. It has certain drawbacks, for example the wedding date year cannot be within the past 5 years. Basically it has a Y2K flaw. I have a few gimmicked lock effects and I have settled on a non-gimmicked version from ETMMM called Ultimate Matrix. While Ultimate Matrix has the draw back of using a process to determine the combination, it seems very fair and impossible to influence and the lock is un-gimmicked.

I have not seen this particular DVD (ETMMM) in some time, but I believe if my memory serves me correctly that Ultimate Matrix utlitizes a st---- to accomplish this terrific effect. Therefore while it does use a non-gimmicked lock, the use of a st---- is a siginifcant drawback for certain smaller venues. I do, however, like Wedding Rings dispite the slight drawback mentioned by Carlo. It is quite easy to avoid this by simply selecting an older couple.

You just have to use the correct patter and know your audience. Alternatively You can ask all married couples to stand up and gradually reduce them by asking them to remain standing if they have been married for more than 5 years, 10 years etc. When you have just 3-4 couples standing, another member of the audience can select one couple randomly. Give them the lock........... |
