I posted a review of the Street Theatre DVD in the reviews section, but apparently most of the discussion about that sort of thing happens here, so I'll start a thread here.
On the DVD, they were performing at Halifax and Ottawa, and maybe a few other places, but it was amazing to watch these buskers work with such large crowds. Watching all these acts made me totally rethink the direction of my magic and performing in general. I'd like to head to some festivals this year to watch people perform. Anyone got any info on where all the big festivals are going to be this year? Is Halifax still on or the place to be? Anyone been to Halifax? If so, how was it? Did you learn anything? |

No trees were killed in the making of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Guys, this is a lovely video. There is much to learn from it. Plus it's just fun to watch.

This video just blew me away. A TON of great acts on this DVD. Jim Show, Gazzo, Alakazam, and a bunch of others. I have watched the thing at least 10 times at this point and can't recommend it highly enough.

I really like it a lot too. I love watching street acts. I always learn something. Especially hat techinques. As soon as I saw this dvd on Magicpitch, I bought it instantly.

Is this the video with Cody (a 'kid', as it were, even though hes a great performer)?
Just a side note - that was meant to be Coadster, and not cody... and no need to answer because I have just looked it up. I saw this DVD on Ellusionist a while back and was thinking about buying it then. There are plenty of performers on this DVD. Also, if you are ordering from the UK, it is actually cheaper to get it from Ellusionist (only a few pounds cheaper, but nonetheless cheaper). Still, if you just like Gary Animal and Gazzo just buy it from Magicpitch |

It is a lot easier to get older than it is to get wiser.
