What's the best way to repair an old Coin Unique. The shim from the shell has become unstuck. Tiny spots of Araldite (epoxy resin), or superglue, or something else? Clean the old glue off first? If so, how?

Steel wool. Krazy glue will work for the shim. If you are full timing, buy another one.

Alan, just scrape the old stuff off with a razor knife. Make sure it's clean and proceed with a good quality super glue GEL, not much though, as it will spread. I have found the gels work better than liquid, but it's personal choice!

Many thanks for the advice. I'll try to repair it (but may go with the "buy another" advice).
