You may remember the copper miniature Paul Fox style cups that I reported on last week. Well, I just got a set of their stainless steel siblings in. They are really nice. They come with the same basic items -- the zippered bag, the three crocheted load balls, the booklet and the regular balls for the routine. They also have a proclamation of authenticity with them.

These are made in highly polished stainless steel and they ring very nicely.

They are heavy enough for you to realize you have a real cup in your hand, not a toy, but light enough that they won't make your jacket hang strangely if you put them in your pocket.

They have the advantage of not tarnishing.

The copper or the stainless.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?

(I cant afford both......)

I don't really have a preference. I am very partial to copper in almost all cases. However, the stainless cups have a special feel to them, as well. The copper cups will eventually have a beautiful patina. The stainless ones will never tarnish.

For walkaround magic in restaurants, the stainless would be an excellent choice because of their durability. They are very similar in feel and handling.

It's very much like asking which of your children you prefer.
