You could use this as an oppurtunity for a little more exposure, suggest to them that they do a short follow up, to show your son is okay.

How about setting it up though for a comedy finish get a hose, poke some holes in it an conceal it under his clothes...then get him to have a drink and turn the hose on....cue the end of the broadcast and people remembering your name! This is not a tried and tested idea, so you will probably need to experiment with the clothes he wear and the power you need to turn the water on.

This sort of scenario on British television in 1956 lead to one of the legendary publicity flukes in magic, when Sorcar performed the buzzsaw with his wife on a live show (as TV was then anyway). He'd just cut her in half to sombre music, he inserted a huge cleaver in the gap to demonstrate she'd just been sawn and was preparing to revive her when time ran out on the TV show and the broadcast cut to the news. Whether by luck or design (probably the former), Sorcar had just pre-empted Richiardi by over a decade in presenting the buzzsaw without resurrecting his assistant. It caused a sensation. The BBC switchboard was jammed with viewers demanding to know what had happened to the girl. So was the theatre performance Sorcar was promoting, he couldn't have hoped for better publicity.

In short, don't worry about it. I certainly don't think it will harm your image or reputation, it's not your fault if the TV show ran out of time (as far as the viewers know, anyway).

Hey mgical, I have tossed that idea around in me head abit and would love to have water spurt from his body...that would be so cool!

Helen, The producer for the show already wants me back...they've never really had a performer quite like me before! hehehe
