I would like to suggest you purchase Klamm's Rings at: http://www.klamm-magic.com They are the best for the price. Good chrome finish and good weld grinding that make them the better of the lower end of Linking Rings. India has taken the market and they are very poor quality. Many are aluminum and not steel.

For your price question, it varies. You can spend hundreds of $'s for some Linking Rings. I believe Klamm's rings give good quality for the price.
