The only time I've performed this, I did it to music without saying anything. I am wanting to put some context to it and use patter instead. But, I'm not coming up with anything, so there it sits in a box on a shelf. Any patter advice or possibly an effect to use in conjunction with it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well, there's always the old poem:
I burn my candle at both ends, it will not last the night. But Ah! my friends and Ah! my foes, it makes a lovely light! And the candle vanishes. Pause, look up, smile wistfully and say, "gee, I didn't even get to light the other end! Can't get good candles these days!" Hope this helps! Lee Darrow, C.H.
